BUCS Events & Competitions

Check the BUCS Events page regularly throughout the year and let the Sports Administrator know which events you are interested in attending as soon as possible, and at least two weeks before the event.

The Sports Administrator will highlight relevant events for your sport where possible, but please do not rely solely on this. You are responsible for checking the BUCS Events page and identifying competitions you would like to enter.

Each event’s individual page will provide important information, including:

  • Entry deadlines
  • Event date and time
  • Venue and location
  • Competition and eligibility requirements
  • Any other relevant event information

Registration & Risk Assessment

Before attending a BUCS event, you must complete an Activity Registration Form and, where required, an additional risk assessment. You will not be permitted to attend the event without an approved Activity Registration Form.

  • For one-off BUCS events and competitions, Team UWL will cover the cost of entry, as well as any additional support required to represent UWL, such as kit.
  • An additional risk assessment is only required when you are staying overnight for the event.

Entering an Individual BUCS Event

To enter an individual event, each entrant must submit their entry through the BUCS Play mobile app.
