We are UWL Tennis! A newly formed society, starting in the academic year 2026. We formed this society not only because we love tennis, but also to create a space for students to come together, exercise, make friends, and have fun.

Our society welcomes all abilities, whether you are a seasoned professional or have never picked up a racquet before.

We are excited to see those who share our passion for tennis and community help create and build this society into something wonderful.

Training, Matches & Events

• Location: Gunnersbury Park, Popes Ln, W3 8LQ.
• Training will be weekly; however, the day and time are yet to be determined. We will update this as soon as possible.
• We are trying to sort out joining a local league so anyone interested can play matches.
• We are also planning weekly socials, which will be on Wednesday evenings, so that players can get to know each other off the courts.

Your Membership

A membership purchase gives you access to weekly training, and we intend to set up competitive matches with other groups in West London.

Your fee goes towards facilities and equipment such as court space, racquets and tennis balls. Fees may also go towards joining a local tennis league, as outlined above.

Don’t forget that UWL provides sport society discounts for those who have access to a bursary. Sport should be accessible to everyone!
