ABOUT US!
Oh yeah, you've come to the right place! We are the UWL Warriors, one of the university's biggest sports teams and multiple time recipient for the 'Sports Team of The year' Award. Join us for a brilliant range of opportunities to heighten your university experience! Last year we appeared on 'Britain's Got Talent', started a brand new team with a professional partnership, got some spanking new sparkly uniforms AND placed 6th Nationally at competition (We do it all)!
We currently have 3 amazing teams, detailed below, for you to get stuck right into!

COMP TEAM -
Our competition team trains every Monday evening 8-10PM, and is open to people of all abilities and levels. All you need is positivity and a willing attitude to try new things!
Each year we compete at the BCA Open University Nationals Competition in Telford, which is an amazing experience and a great end to the season.
On this team you will learn to jump, tumble, stunt and dance - No previous experience is recquired, you will recieve all the training you need with us! :)
Our Competition Membership is £80. This covers the cost of a 2 hour training session with our fabulous coach and venue rental, insurance in the unlikely event that it is required, competition entry fee and travel to the event, access to our weekly social events and a membership for our Sideline team should you wish to be part of both teams.
SIDELINE TEAM -
If the Competition team is not for you, then our Sideline team may just be the perfect alternative!
This team meets each Thursday 8-9PM where we make chants and routines in preparation to support our fellow sports teams at their matches on Wednesday afternoons.
In Spring, the University sporting event on everyone's minds is 'VARSITY', where both our Competition and Sideline members come together to support our fellow UWL sports teams at their matches. The Sideline team will have at least one opportunity to perform a BIG halftime show to get the crowd wild.
If you would like to be part of a team that spreads positivity, is welcoming to every team member new and old, and have a lot of fun while doing it then we are the team for you!
Sideline Membership is £40 or free with a Competition Membership and this will cover the cost of an hour training session on Thursday nights, and you can also attend our weekly Wednesday socials where you can get to know people from the Competition team and at larger events, people from different UWL Sports Teams.
TRAILFINDERS TEAM -
Ta da! We have been working hard to unveil a brand new, shiny team for you all to join! This team trains Thursday evening 7-8PM, straight before Sideline starts! We have partnered with our local prefessional Rugby club, Ealing Trailfinders, to choreograph and perform for half time and do their 'Gaurd of Honour' for each of their home matches!
This will be primarily a display team with a lot of fab performance opportunity and high exposure for the team so we need our smiliest faces for this one! Games will be held approximately every 2-3 weeks on Saturdays! You will need to be free on these days, the dates will be sent in advance.
Trailfinders Membership is £40 and this will cover the cost of an hour training session on Thursday nights, and admittance to our weekly Wednesday socials where you can get to know people from our other teams and at larger events, other people from different UWL Sports Teams.

EVENTS & ACTIVITIES
Wednesday nights are dedicated to sports socials where we host and attend various events all year round including Hallowe'en, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Varsity and many, many more. If going out is not your scene then don't worry, our chilled games and movie nights are perfect for team bonding and building new friendships that last a lifetime.
