What's your name and what course do you study?

My name is Menna Noble (she/they), and I am a second year BA student studying Acting at Drama Studio London.

Why did you decide to become a school rep?

Having been a course rep for my first year I know first hand how important amplifying the student voice is and how valuable open, constructive communication between faculty and students can be - especially given the intensive nature of our course. I am very passionate about my course and care about DSL and wanted the opportunity to encourage prospective students at open days and audition days and help every student get the most out of their drama school training.

What do you hope to achieve in this role?

To continue to facilitate open conversation and support the already positive relationship between the faculty and the student body to ensure everybody feels listened to and valued at DSL.

How do you plan to represent and support students in your school?

The previous school rep - KJ Adams - did an excellent job of establishing a great rapport with all courses and year groups and facilitating systems such as termly meetings with the course reps. Having been a course rep for my first year, I have an understanding of their role and how best to support them, so they are able in turn to support their respective courses and classes.
