What's your name and what course do you study?

Hello! My name is Magdalena Ziolkowska and I am in the third year of Accounting and Finance.

Why did you decide to become a school rep?

I have been a Course Rep for two years and have also run events with the Art and Finance Societies; I have learned that it is the small moments we share and the relationships we build that make our university years memorable and fulfilling. Working with other students has been one of the most enjoyable parts of my university journey, and becoming a School Rep will give me the opportunity to meet even more incredible people!

What do you hope to achieve in this role?

For many people, attending university is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and every student deserves the opportunity to make the most of it! I hope to continue the amazing work of our previous School Reps and Course Reps by advocating for students both academically and through events and activities. Most importantly, I want to help address any challenges we face as a UWL community and work towards creating an enriching and inclusive experience for everyone.

How do you plan to represent and support students in your school?

I will represent students impartially, honestly, and openly. I want to make sure that everyone feels heard, regardless of their background or circumstances. I encourage you to reach out to me with your ideas, concerns, or suggestions, whether through email or by approaching me in person. I will listen to your needs and opinions and do my best to make sure your voice is heard.
