Leave a lasting impact on the local community in Ealing and help Ealing Rangers to redevelop a nature reserve in Lammas Park.
In December the VTeam started clearing ivy from trees, removing low branches and clearing small trees to open the sightlines between two spaces in the nature reserve.
During this event we will be continuing this work, and if we have time, we can start to plant new trees in the area.
By volunteering you will be encouraging wildlife back to the nature reserve and creating a space for educating young people. This is a great opportunity to learn about sustainability from experts. Whether you're a nature novice or an ecology expert, everyone is welcome to get involved.
Training and all equipment will be provided, this includes working with gardening tools, at your own pace. Feel free to bring your own gloves, dress to get a bit mucky and wear sturdy footwear.
This volunteering event is organised by the VTeam :)
