The annual Volunteering Awards are a celebration of all the volunteering done by our students during the past year and their contributions to their local communities but also at a regional and national level.
All students and graduates who have volunteered whether independently or through the University are eligible to nominate themselves, or be nominated, for a V Award which will be presented at the ceremony.
- Have you been volunteering with the VTeam, a charity or not-for-profit organisation?
- Do you know someone who has and deserves a little extra recognition for their hard work?
- Maybe your school has been amazing in promoting volunteering opportunities?
Any student who has spent over 25 hours volunteering is eligible to receive an award from UWL’s Volunteering and Civic Engagement Service.
Volunteered but not quite hit the 25 hour mark? We can still give you a certificate for the time you’ve donated and an invitation to the ceremony.
Here’s how it works:
If you have volunteered during the 2021/22 academic year, you could earn one of the following certificates from the university.
- Bronze Award – 25 hours or more
- Silver Award – 50 hours or more
- Gold Award – 100 hours or more
- Platinum Award – 200 hours or more
We will also be showing extra appreciation to students, schools and local organisations who have really proven themselves over the last year.
If you would like to make a nomination for:
