Food Bank Volunteering

Help out at FoodBox for a few hours!

Food Bank Volunteering

30/09/2022 - 30/09/2022

1pm - 4pm

Meeting at Brentford Campus Reception

Hounslow Community FoodBox, a food bank, is a fantastic volunteer-run charity that provides emergency food, support, and advice to those who are in need of help and live in the London Borough of Hounslow. Hounslow FoodBox rely on donations from the public in terms of both food and time, volunteering is critical to their operation.

This is a great opportunity to give back at a time where there is a surge in demand for food banks. On the day you will help with sorting and logging donations, stock rotation and packing parcels.

What will you need? No experience is necessary, just enthusiasm and a desire to help those less fortunate. We will be walking to and from Brentford Campus (about 20 minutes), so wear something waterproof and warm. Any questions please email thevteam@uwl.ac.uk
Date: Friday 30th September
Time: 1pm – 4pm
Location: Meet inside the entrance to the Paragon campus
