9:45am - 11:30am
Brentford
Boston Manor Park is one of our most cherished green spaces. It’s a park with history, beautiful old trees, a lake, a café, sports facilities, and it’s an important community hub. The Boston Manor Weekly Gardening Team makes sure the green spaces in Brentford are safe and clean for people to enjoy, whilst helping nature thrive!
Join The VTeam as we help The Boston Manor Weekly Gardening Team with some conservation volunteering, this could involve clearing bramble, removing branches from trees, and maintaining the park.
AWARDS AND RECOGNITION
These hours will go towards your Volunteering Award automatically, which is the same for any volunteering you do with the VTeam specifically. If you volunteer externally, you will need to fill a logbook and send it to us, you can email us for a downloadable copy. The VAwards have gone but if you still would like a certificate, you can attribute hours between June 2022 until the end of May 2023. Email us if you have any questions at thevteam@uwl.ac.uk.
