The Ealing Rangers make sure the green spaces in Ealing are safe and clean for people to enjoy, whilst helping nature thrive!
Join The VTeam as we help the rangers with gardening, this could involve clearing bramble, removing branches from trees, and maintaining the park.
Everyone is welcome to join and work at your own pace, however, please note that there is a physical element to this work, including using tools safely.
AWARDS AND RECOGNITION
These hours will go towards your Volunteering Award automatically, which is the same for any volunteering you do with the VTeam specifically. If you volunteer externally, you will need to fill a logbook and send it to us, you can email us for a downloadable copy. The VAwards have gone but if you still would like a certificate, you can attribute hours between June 2022 until the end of May 2023. Email us if you have any questions at thevteam@uwl.ac.uk.

Details:
Where: Meet at the entrance to Ealing campus, we will do the 10-minute walk together to the park
When: 1:45pm-4pm on Wednesday 14th of June.
What you need: We will provide all equipment, make sure to wear some clothing you don't mind getting mucky and some sturdy footwear. If you have a VTeam T-Shirt, please bring it with you for all those snazzy photos!
Health and Safety: Please don't attend if you have tested positive for Covid or are feeling unwell. Please be aware that this volunteering includes a bit of physical work however volunteers can go at their own pace and take many breaks.
