EU Democratic Policy Forum Society

Please log in to join this organisation.

The EU Democratic Forum Society is a non-partisan student society focused on discussion and learning about European and UK politics, democratic governance, and current affairs.

Our aim is to provide a neutral and open space where students from all disciplines can discuss political ideas, explore different perspectives on European issues, and stay informed about developments across the EU and the wider international landscape.

The society does not endorse political parties, candidates, campaigns, or ideological positions. Instead, we aim to encourage balanced discussion, critical thinking, and a better understanding of democratic systems and public policy.

As a new society, we hope to organise a range of activities throughout the year, including:

Discussion Evenings: open conversations about current UK and European political issues and developments.

Debates: structured debates on topics related to democracy, policy, and UK & European affairs.

Guest Talks & Panels: opportunities to hear from students, academics, and guest speakers interested in politics, governance, and international relations.

Socials: relaxed meetups where members can connect with others who share an interest in politics and public affairs.
