About us

We are the West London Spartans and we're a football club for UWL students. We provide the opportunity for players of all abilities and experience levels to get involved with football.

We hold two hour training sessions on Monday nights with professional coaches at the Gunnersbury Park Sports Hub, and on Wednesday afternoons we have two teams which play 11-a-side matches in the 'BUCS South Eastern Tier 6 Divison D' and 'BUCS South Eastern Tier 7 Divison A' against other universities.

Off the pitch we have a great social scene with regular events and meet-ups, including post-match socials every Wednesday that proceed into the night. Becoming a member of the West London Spartans provides you with the perfect opportunity to meet like-minded people and make your university experience the best it could possibly be.

We are constantly looking for new ways to provide opportunities for our members to play and interact socially, so we hope you can be a part of what makes this club so great.

Memberships

A membership to the Men's Football society will give you the opportunity to become a part of the proud history of the West London Spartans.

Your membership allows you to join us for competitive fixtures, weekly training sessions and social events. You will also be given the opportunity to join us on a week long foreign tour (widely recognised as one of the best weeks of your life).

Our yearly memberships are £75.00

The cost of the membership fee goes towards; hiring the Gunnersbury Park Sports Hub pitches twice a week for the entire year, hiring professional coaches to run two hour training sessions every week, arranging for organised travel to away fixtures of a great distance, and the purchasing of any new equpitment required by the club.

Once you join you will have the opportunity to meet, play and interact with all of our other members for the whole year. You will make friendships that will last a lifetime, and turn your university experience into a truely unforgettable one.
