The UWL Titans basketball team intends to increase the quality of your university experience by giving newer and returning students and area in which they can improve themselves both mentally and physically. The theme of teamwork and productivity is the story of every practice and the headline of every match. Our aim as a team is to compete against other Universities around the U.K. in the BUCS league and to socialize with one another as well as the other sports teams and societies here at UWL. If you have any interest in basketball, then show up for fresher's fair, and look for the basketball teams stall for the easiest way to sign up.

We'll be holding a taster session on Wednesday 6th Oct at Gunnersbury Park from 14:00-15:00.

2021/22 membership price - £75 (TBC)

This gives you membership to the UWL Titans Basketball team, which covers insurance, BUCS, training, coaching, AND kit etc.

This will also allow you to take part in socials and receive communication on exciting opportunities we can offer you.

 

COMMITTEE POSITIONS

Below are the positions available when putting yourself forward for a committee position. Some groups may have additional roles to others, so make sure you check them out!

GROUP ADMINISTRATOR - Click Here

• This role is a new role created to reduce the demand on the President and add value to the treasurer role, therefore, it includes elements of the Treasurer roles. It’s been designed to incorporate the behind-the-scenes administrative work and the financial elements that go into running a student group.

CLUB CAPTAIN - Click Here

• This role is new and includes elements of the President & Captains roles. It’s been designed to incorporate the on-field direction and the organisational elements that go into running a successful sports club on and off the field of play. This person doesn’t need to be the best player, but more of a leader who has a vision for the club. Club captains will be assisted by team captains where applicable.
