If you are not able to submit an assignment due to an unexpected situation and but cannot apply for an extension, then you can apply for a postponement.

What do I do if I am not able to apply for an extension, but I am not able to submit my assignment?

If you are not able to submit an assignment due to an unexpected situation like ill health and are not able to apply for an extension, then you can apply for a postponement.

You can apply for a postponement via an online form. Or you can fill in form P and submit it to: mitigationsapplications@uwl.ac.uk

You may be asked for evidence to support your postponement application.

If your postponement is successful, then you will be asked to submit the assignment at the next available submission date

You should contact your module tutor and inform them that you have applied for a postponement.

You cannot apply for postponement if you have already applied for an extension

What do I do if I am not able to sit an exam?

If you are not able to sit for an exam, because of an unexpected situation like ill health, then you can apply for a postponement by contacting your module leader and request a postponement from them.

If your postponement is successful, you will be able to sit the exam at the next available date.
