As VP of Activities and participation it’s my job to help you enjoy the student experience to the absolute fullest. My role encompasses events, societies, sports and campaign so, essentially, its all about making sure that you have a sick experience and walk away with fantastic memories.
During my time as a student I was heavily involved in sports and societies. As a consequence of this I built relationships with a group of people that later became my surrogate uni family, learnt leadership and organisational skills that would  make me more employable and most importantly had a brilliant time with my mates.
I’m incredibly passionate about making sure that all students are given the opportunity to take part in as much as possible regardless of background. Because of this, the events and activities  that we have planned for this year will be the  most varied that UWL has ever seen!
As a a student with leaning disabilities myself (you have no idea how many times I have used spell checker during the writing of this) I have a special interest in the support provided for disabled students by the university. This year I will be working along side the university to make sure that all support is top notch and exactly  what the student needs.
If I could offer any advice at all to any student, regardless of their year of study, it would be to get stuck in and have a go at everything you possibly can. You’ve got nothing to lose!
Thanks for taking the time to have a read and come up and say hello if you see me about. I’ll do everything I can to help you out with whatever you need!
