We've Got You.
We understand how tough and challenging the last few months have been for all of you. As we enter our third lockdown and first of the year with such short notice, we wanted to express now more than ever that we are here for you.
We have set up a Lockdown Hub www.uwlsu.com/lockdownhub where you can find advice, support, online events & activities to help you during these adverse times. If you need to speak to anyone regarding any issues, please do get in touch and we will make sure to help in any way that we can email@example.com
Your Sabbatical Officers are working with relevant UWL staff to ensure that UWLFlex is helping to support your learning and that where needed assessments and exams are adjusted to reflect the changing situation.
On a national level with other Sabbatical Officers, we are advocating on your behalf to the government asking them to fund your rent costs for the period in which you are unable to access your London housing due to the current national lockdown restrictions.
We are also calling upon the government to provide enhanced support to universities to help respond to student mental health needs and to also support students who are experiencing digital poverty
We also want our students to have the best opportunity of succeeding during these unprecedented times and to let you know we are listening to all your concerns and ensuring that your concerns are heard by the relevant people.
If you have any questions regarding your course and education, please email your VP of Education Alessio at firstname.lastname@example.org who will forward it on to the correct person.
Should you have any questions you would like your sabbatical officers to ask the VCE regarding studies, drop any of them an email and they will ensure to pass these on.
