Community Based Activities

Here at the SU, we work closely with your Lecturers to come up with some amazing activities to get involved in and enhance your studies all while fitting in to your existing timetable. This could be going to exhibitions, museum trips, guest speakers and even industry related events to help enhance your learning experience.

Previous Community Based Activities:
  • Part funded BA Visual Effects and Games Design students going to the BlueGFX expo which had professionals from fields such as games development and VR sharing ideas about the industry's latest advancements

  • A trip to an Amazon services centre for Business students so they could learn more about how company operates?

  • A workshop featuring a mock crime scene investigation run by a former police officer for Forensics and Criminology students

  • Paid for Photography students to go to an exhibition at the Tate Modern on the French photographer, Dora Maar

  • Arranged socials and catering for nursing students before they go on placement
