Course description
Get ready for the coming of the robots! Robots can undertake all sorts of repetitive tasks from building cars in factories to vacuuming your house. But how do they work?
Come and discover the possibilities of the £13 Raspberry Pi computer! In the Introduction to Robotics course, you will build a robot from scratch and understand how electronics, engineering and programming combine to create working robots.
Outcomes
The attendees will be able to build a working robot by themselves by acquiring basic python code knowledge.
Assessment
All the participants will be assisted through the process of learning to build up their own robot. The effectiveness of the participants’ work will be demonstrated by their performance in the competition at the end of the course.
